Milan Rai on Chomsky and the Mass Media
Went to see Milan Rai talk about Noam Chomsky’s politics as part of the Ethical Society’s lecture series last week – been a mad and distracted week finishing off a project so a time shifted (i.e. late!) post. Hearing a talk about Chomsky was a reminder of the bracing effects of this thinker when I feel at risk of being mesmerized by the blandishments of the Western media. Why are we in Libya?...
